Sec. 26.5-2. Harassment through electronic communications.

(a)

(a) A person commits harassment through electronic communications when he or she uses electronic communication for the purpose of harassing another person, or transmitting obscene or threatening messages.

(c)

(c) Sentence. Harassment through electronic communications is a Class B misdemeanor. A second or subsequent conviction is a Class A misdemeanor.
