Sec. 7. Production of cannabis sativa plant.

(a)

(a) It is unlawful for any person knowingly to produce the cannabis sativa plant or to possess the cannabis sativa plant.

(b)

(b) Possession of 5 or fewer cannabis sativa plants is a civil violation or Class A misdemeanor. Possession of more than 5 plants is a Class 4 felony (6-20 plants), Class 3 felony (21-50 plants), Class 2 felony (51-200 plants), Class 1 felony (more than 200 plants).
