Privacy notice & Local Execution

The site has no accounts or sale of personal information. Search and filtering are designed to run locally in the browser without sending search wording to an application server.

Do not enter personal or sensitive information. Do not search for names, registration plates, driver or license identifiers, case numbers, narratives, criminal justice information (CJI), or other operational details.

• • Prohibited Input: Never enter names, plates, DL numbers, or case records into search.
• • Client-Side Isolation: Queries are scored in-memory and are never uploaded to our servers.

This website does not display advertising from Google AdSense or any other ad network, and it does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Optional paid products, dataset licenses, sponsorships, and support contributions are completed on the checkout provider’s own website. When you follow a checkout link, that provider’s privacy policy governs the information you give them. This website does not receive or store your payment card details.

A sponsor, when present, appears only as a plain text notice on selected public guide pages. Sponsor notices load no third-party scripts, images, or cookies.

Aggregate page-view counts. Public reference pages use Vercel Web Analytics, served from this site’s own domain, to count page views. It sets no cookies and uses no persistent identifier; it records the page path, referring site, browser and device type, and country. Query strings and URL fragments are removed in your browser before anything is sent, so search wording is never transmitted. PatrolSync, login-gated tools, and these trust pages carry no analytics.

• • No Ad Networks: No AdSense, ad scripts, or advertising cookies are loaded on any page.
• • Zero Search Data Sharing: Query strings and search terms are never shared with sponsors, checkout providers, analytics, or any third party.

The theme and slash-shortcut preferences may be stored in localStorage. Up to five selected offense-record IDs—not search wording—and a dismissed update version may be retained in sessionStorage until the browser session ends. “Clear local data” removes these values.

An explicit “Share results” action may place the search wording and selected filters in the URL fragment after #. Fragments normally remain in the browser and are not included in the HTTP request, but anyone receiving the shared link can read that wording.

• • User Control: All cached UI settings can be erased instantly via browser data clear.
• • Fragment Privacy: Shared URLs use client-side fragments (`#`) rather than server query strings.

Vercel hosts the site and may process ordinary request metadata such as IP address, date and time, requested path, user agent, response status, and security events under its own service terms and privacy practices. The application itself does not create user accounts or an application database.

Older links may contain search wording in query parameters such as ?q=. The initial request for a legacy link may expose that wording to hosting infrastructure before the page can migrate it to a private fragment. Do not place sensitive information in any search or URL.

• • Legacy Link Warning: Avoid bookmarking or transmitting sensitive terms in legacy query parameters.
